The Heat index and the Summer Simmer Index combine temperature and humidity to determine the human-perceived equivalent temperature. A measure of the precipitation effectiveness or aridity of a region calculated from precipitation and temperature has been proposed by De Martonne. The following indexes refer to the Greater Athens Area.
